Parent Partnership Programs

We at Tatarian Elementary are committed to a Parent Partnership relationship. Research has proven that students whose parents are involved in their child’s schooling achieve more in school. We are planning on extending our parent partnership opportunities whenever we see opportunity to do so. Some of the activities we currently have at Forkner include:

• Back to School Night
• Art Docent Parent Program
• Parent Teacher Conferences – October
• Open House
• School Site Council – Monthly
• English Language Advisory Committee (quarterly)
• Classroom Volunteers
• Classroom visits
• Assemblies
• Special Events (school sponsored and PTA sponsored)
• Parent Teacher Association (PTA)
